Hi, my name is Biff (Slicker than Snake Slither) Williams or Slick for short. No I did not realize my pants were tucked into my socks when the camera guy was slinkin around here. Meet Slick, the closest thing to an advertising sales rep you will ever have to deal with around here. Slick's role in life is the promotion of products and services offered by Rob Weitzel Graphic Productions. In this case, the sale of advertising and promotional space on www.sportsshooter.ca.

Because it is difficult for Slick to come out and see you (he is, after all, just a picture), and because he seems to think he knows everything, he is going to answer all of your questions regarding the value of advertising your business or event on sportsshooter.ca in the area below. Just click on one of the following questions and the answer will appear below it. Click again to collapse the item.

  1. Question: Tell me Slick, why should we advertise on sportsshooter.ca?
    1. Slick's Answer: Let us start with the fact that advertising on sportsshooter.ca is advertising to people who you already know are interested in your product or service. The viewer or perspective customer has found out about our site and your site by their involvement in or attendance at an event that parallels your business offerings.
  2. Q: Slick, how is it you go about getting my potential customers to visit sportsshooter.ca and ultimately my site?
    1. Well that is relatively simple. As humans, we are all quite vain, we love to look at pictures of ourselves and our toys. We also like to look at pictures of others and their toys so we can compare those against how good looking we are or brag about how much better our toys are than someone else's. Our sportsshooter.ca photographers go to sporting events and take pictures of those in attendance. We tell everyone at the event that they need to visit sportsshooter.ca to view the pictures of their beautiful selves taking part in what they are most passionate about. We communicate our message by means of signage, logo-wear and passing out business cards containing website particulars. There you have it, slicker than snake slither, they are on our site, with their sport in mind, and, a link to your website staring them right in the choppers.
  3. Q: I think you missed a part?
    1. Right, the logistics... we place your banner or advertisement on a page specific to the events you would like to market to. (Not much use promoting your jetski selection on the lawn bowling page.) At every event, attendees are given a password to enter the areas where their pictures are being posted. What that means is that you can advertise to everyone that visits the sportsshooter.ca website, if that is of value to your business (of course it is), or you can advertise only to those involved in a particular event. i.e. Your company specializes in women's gymnastics apparel, you would advertise your little pink frilly things on the page set up for the provincial gymnastics competitors and not on the page set up for minor football.
  4. Q: Okay, so now I get it. There is a soccer tournament next month and as a member of the organizing committee and mother of a player who's team profits from the sale of hotdogs at the event, I want all soccer fans to know about it... so we promote the event on your main page (landing page). My husband and I also own a small sporting goods store specializing in bikes and hiking stuff so we are also going to advertise on the page set up for the mountain bike racers and the one for the rock climbing competition. Is this a good move for my business?
    1. Aauugghh, can you please repeat that?... Joking. Yes, that is a very good marketing move for both your soccer event and your store. Everyone that visits sportsshooter.ca will know about your soccer tournament, we could even provide a direct link to the game schedules so people can plan a specific time to avoid yard work or the in-laws. And don't forget all the outdoorsy type rock climbers who will click the link to your website and be made aware of your clearance sale on four year old energy bars.
  5. Q: How much?
    1. How much do you have?
  6. Q: Strait answer sales boy!?
    1. Okay, strait as a five wood in a sixty mile an hour wind. Fact is there are several available options, some of which we have already touched on. The remainder of which you will find here with the prices.
  7. Q: Where do I sign?
    1. You can fill out and submit our on-line form (that does not yet exist), or you can send an e-mail to sales@sportsshooter.ca and we will quickly follow up.

    $$$

Contemplating all of Slick's good points....either that or planning what club he's gonna hit off the 11th in tomorrows round.

Slick's cousin Jed sells life insurance to unsuspecting retirees and just like they say on T.V. ....no sales person will call.

Either this guy has been
eating ice cream in the boardroom
again or he just got more spam that reads
"We guarantee your website will receive millions of hits per day by people with no money living thousands of miles away who have no interest whatsoever in your valuable product."

This guy's dentist bill must be huge.

Applause for Slick as he did a very good job.
